Do you have any other tech information on that car?

I remember that Herb Adams built/ran that car briefly in the "reconstituted" Can Am in the early '80's.

The car didn't have much success in that series, as I recall, but back in the day, Herb (an ex GM engineer, one of DeLorean's guys) was the Pontiac chassis and suspension set-up guru for WS6 Trans Am guys (with Screaming Chicken delete option...) like I was back in high school. He also built a series of wicked, albeit barely street-able, big block "Fire Ams" in the late '70s.

Brilliant guy, who did a lot on a virtual shoestring budget.

Tim, you know what I know. It was run in the 1983 CanAm, but was not successful. Looks more like something that would have been tried in the original CanAm! -- Curt

Speaking from my karting experience where we essentially have side engines, that would have been better balanced with two side engines. Can you imagine something like 2 Honda S2000 motors hooked together?!! Or 2 Toyota 16 valve 4's? Yeah buuhuuddyyy!

It's too bad that this sort of innovative design is essentially outlawed by the sanctioning bodies these days. Sure would be interesting to see some type of 'unlimited' formula to give today's automotive engineers a forum to showcase their ideas.
