Middle-year Peninsula Sojurn! (pics)

Here are some pics of our recent Middle-year gathering in Melbourne. A spur of the moment run down the Mornington Peninsula, with weather tailor made for us!



A Ferrari 575M that we encountered along the way. He knew the taste of smack-down when he saw it and stayed out of our way.



Our lunch-stop, the Tgallant Winery, where we enjoyed gourmet wood-fired pizza and a few glasses of wine.



A nice view of the bay near Balnarring/Merricks. Tide's out, and it's rocky down there.



We found an abandoned General Store, which made a great backdrop for some photos. Simon Renn's late '77 SC.

I just got a call from my friend Owen who's in Sydney until Feb. 4. He said he's having an absolute ball, I should've quit work a couple weeks ago and gone with him, DAMNET!!!

This place is a great holiday spot... especially with our current weather. It hit 38ºC/~100ºF today, but with a nice cool breeze.

Matt, I'm going to neck that bottle of Moscato tonight with dinner... Emma will love it.

BUT....one of my sisters & I are going to New Zealand this Feb. I can't wait. We won't be there for too long...but will try to make the most of our time seeing what we can of that beautiful country.
