Forget the GT-40.... I wanna see an ad for the new 997 screaming down the road smashing bugs and scaring little old ladies out of their walkers!

Spare me the current politically correct "litter commercials"

"In what gear do you realize that this car has a severe power oversteer problem at corner exit?"

That was awesome!! I don't care how much we love the Pcars, it is REALLY nice to see a car from the USA that offers up the cool retro'ish styling and serious HP. I love it!

It's good to see an American car company taking a track oriented approach to the launch of an awesome car. That thing is truly stunning.

Proof-positive that a large car company can do great things. I hope the boys at Porsche are paying attention.

I agree that I hope Porsche is paying attention, and I *love* the Ford GT, but I would prefer Porsche continues to develop and look forward. I know a lot of enthusiasts are disappointed with the company's direction, but at least Porsche is not cashing in by selling retro (except for the Boxster 550 option package, which is hardly redoing the T-bird), and is building new stuff. Any developments Porsche makes outside of sports cars may eventually find their way to the cars. I know many people here would also favor a retro new Porsche, but that is not what made Porsche the marque it is today. I, too, would prefer that Porsche "stick to its knitting" but apparently that is not going to happen, and we will just have to hope that some more great sports cars are in Porsche's (& our) futures.

Nice commercial, I'll have to pass this along to my coworkers at Ford!

That's the best track commercial I've seen since the one with the Saturn racing the 911s. Great!

Haha, nice!

Yeah, and the gt is a very cool car. It shows that with some effort...America can crank out some nice cars. Too bad this doesn't occur too often.
