So what's the rationale for the doubled up front wheels?

Im thinking less drag and even better stopping(2 sets of front brakes?)...better turning?

The manufacturer claims more tire contact area on the road, better braking (4 vs. 2), better ride, less problems in case of a puncture. Doesn't mention double the chance of a problem with the brakes and suspension (4 vs. 2!!) and generally increased complexity. I really like the car, but in reality it is more a gimmick to make it unique than anything else. They plan to build 8 per year.
