Super Bowl Hoopla!
I've been waiting all day and no one wants to talk about Janet's so called "wardrobe malfunction?" Yeah right, I am sure that Mr. Teenie-Bopper was not supposed to pull down her top at the exact point in the song that talked about getting her naked and right when the lights were supposed to go out. No way, whats next, Michael Jackson is really Diana Ross? Also, I am dissapointed that I am having to be the sophmoric guy in the group but what's up with Janet's boobie jewelry? Nice touch honey. Is that a normal deal or just when your exposed on national TV. Furthermore, I do recall an exposure of her breasts in Rolling Stone or some other fine publication like that and nary a sun shaped piercing was in sight. Nice touch MTV.
Other commentary regarding the whole event: 1. Weakest commericals I have ever seen for the Super Bowl. Not one real "breakroom" commerical in the bunch. Gasseaous equines (see it before in Seinfeld like 7 years ago), dogs biting crotches and the like just couldn't get it done. Even the car ads SUCKED. 2. I found the pre-game spacesuit deal with Aerosmith to be a little cheeky and not the greatest taste on the Columbia tragedy day. Maybe it was a tribute but I was like "not so much of that" 3. Did anyone notice the streaker at the end of halftime? That is the british guy from the Nike commericals. He got on the field in a referees outfit and I think he was sponsored. That guy is good at this "craft." 4. First game I have ever watched on a 70" TV in HDTV, one word AMAZING. I must have said at least 20 times, can you believe the picture on that. It was really almost like 3D. I can't believe I don't have this technology in my house. I recall saying "Honey, we need this!" Wow. 4. Oh yeah, great 2 and 4 quarters and overall great game, even though I was pulling for the other team.

My friends and I ordered the "lingerie bowl" (which was horrible by the way) and were watching it during half-time. Sounds like we missed the main event...
