I wonder how you get the "gamey" taste out. Yes, that's what I wonder...

"Armin Meiwes, a 42-year-old computer expert, had no "base motives" in the crime, a state court ruled, sparing him a murder conviction. Explaining the verdict, the presiding judge said Meiwes' intention was not evil but "the fulfillment of his fantasy." "

Oh good, at least killing and eating the man wasn't evil. I was worried for a moment. . .

I'd always heard / read that human flesh tastes more like pork than anything else.

That guy is evil. It's silly to think he's not.

I have a question..... if the guy just killed himself THEN the cannibal had dinner, would that have been illegal? Anywhere?

Lots of pictures and details here

Some parts are almost funny:

VICTIM: "Are you a smoker?"

CANNIBAL: "Yes, but my teeth are still pretty white."

VICTIM: "That's good, I smoke, too. I hope you like smoked meat."

CANNIBAL: "Just bring yourself for breakfast."

What is the world coming too, when you can't even have a friend for dinner without the media and the courts kicking up a fuss?

Recipes for long pig available on request:

Now that I've got that sick humour out of my system there are some issues to consider.
1. The victim was willing. So it was like killing someone wishing to commit suicide. Excluding arguments about euthanasia, this is still murder.
2. That the perpetrator had a different perception of right and wrong to the society he lives in is irrelevant. He has to abide by the rules or face the consequences and he must surely have been aware of the consequences. 8 years for cannibalism is a joke. Confinement in a long term mental institution after a lobotomy with a dull axe is more like it.
3. One of the downside of modern communications is that all the headcases from all over the world can get together and commune. I expect we will be seeing a lot more cases like these in the next few years.

Oh well, out of the gene pool they go!

Seems that I'm not the only one with a soft spot for Hannibal Lecter. I'd just like him a lot more as a vegiatarian (But that would ruin the books)

Gross outs are great, especially when just waking up.

Just this morning while eating oatmeal and watching "Animal Planet," I got to see a dog go into labor, have a puppy, tear the afterbirth off one of the puppies, choke and go into cardiac arrest. Let me tell ya, that got me ready for the day...

Wink

k... I admit... I'm guilty. In some sick way I enjoy this way OT stuff. Just visiting this OT board is like watching a train wreck happening over and over and over and over and over.

Keep up the good work folks !
