When you consider that Toyota/Lexus also has one of the highest profit margins (if not the highest?) in the industry, you realize there's no stopping them.

i was under the belief that Porsche has had the highest profit margin in the business over the past 5 years or so...

Well, that's nice, but Porsche volume is a drop in the bucket compared to Toyota.
