Hotmail

Does anyone know if there's problems with Hotmail presently? I've been having trouble logging in for the past two days. No other website seems to be causing me trouble.

Thanks
Mark

I retrieve a couple Hotmail accounts in to Outlook Express which I have set up on multiple machines. I had some trouble making a connection to Hotmail for a couple days last week on those machines - very inconsistent. I generally could go directly to www.hotmail.com and log in though.

Thanks.

My access to Hotmail from work is ok so I shall see if the home front is working any better when I get there tonight.

Cheers
Mark

Damn. For some reason I can't get Hotmail to load up at home? Everything else works fine. I deleted all my cookies (hate doing that!) and still no joy. I've a zillion speed broadband connection but it just won't load. Went to Google and tried from there - same problem Hotmail won't load up.

Any ideas?

are you running any kind of firewall software that could be blocking the site?

expat 02-18-2004 01:10 AM

Nope...no firewall.

This is really bugging me.

I've tried using my favourites link, my history link, the desk top icon, google search, and simply entering in just the webs address http://www.hotmail and still no luck. Bugger just won't load.

Me thinks maybe someone has sent me a virus or the like, but my Norton checker is updated every few hours and hasn't picked up anything strange.

Grrrr:mad:

Maybe I'll just have to do a full backup and reinstall the op system to see if that kicks it back into gear.

Thanks for the thoughts anyhow.

Mark
