What did everyone think of this film? I thought that it was very good w/ several great performances, but not quite on the level of Eastwood's "Unforgiven". Tim Robbins was outstanding, so was Marcia Gay Hardin, Sean Penn was excellent but he always is and I've seen better from him, IMO. Kevin Bacon stood out to me more than anyone else, he came in under the radar w/ the best performance I think.

Talk about a film that contains all of the liberal pinkos in Tinseltown! It's a vast left-wing conspiracy! :D

i did not know him by name, eli wallach. i was in the flick going "who the hell is that?" then it came to me and i yelled out "tuco", then a guy in back of me did the good, the bad, & the ugly whistle.

nice to see clint giving one of his old boys some work.

did enjoy the movie. so did my girlfriend, we see one movie a year in the theater and that was it. good on $8 a pop till '05 now.

Great movie, the end really suprised me. Not a big Kevin Bacon fan (Footlose), but he did an excellent job. Sean Penn is my favorite actor.

Eli Wallach played with Eastwood in The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. When Eastwood double-crosses him, he screams at him "Tu es un hijo de un gran puta!" Translation--You are the son of a great whore. Great line.

Didn't enjoy the movie at all, but I did leave with a hankering for a double JD on the rocks. :) Must be nice to never get a hangover - or at least one that prohibits walking and talking. The suspense was lost on me. No kidding I pegged em pretty quick. Won't give away details for those who haven't seen it.
