But it wasn't sanctioned tournament play, and questions exist about the veracity of the report. I'm impressed when I see anybody go past 50 in tournament play. Anybody making a run beyond 50 when playing straight pool on a 9' table? He's a damned good pool player!

On the original topic of the Auto-Cross challenge by the Ricer boy, my brother-in-law is some kind of NC state champ in Auto-Cross in his car category. I know he has a 4-banger with LESS THAN 100HP.

So listen to this: He went to a Corvette club Auto-X and beat the best Corvette by OVER FOUR SECONDS. Granted, these Corvette guys were not the most experienced Auto-X guys in the world.

The moral of the story: Auto-X is 80% technique, and 20% power.
