That is some workmanship!
Probably worth the same as a real one?

My friend built a wooden bicycle years ago and use to display it at wood shows. Then Ripley's bought it for display in their museums.

Very cool though and a great name for this thread!

There's a fellow in Nova Scotia who got bored and built with pine, a wheel and tire assembly which was a full scale version of the one on a model F1 car he had assembled. Next thing you know, the guy had duplicated the entire car in wood,(a Jackie Stewart era Tyrrell if memory serves) and was showing it at Ford dealerships (he would take off the cover to expose the Cosworth DFV) I had a look at it about 10 years ago. Quite a piece of work.

Wow!!

Truly amazing. I would scream "Photoshop", but the pics look real. If it is fake, you must have got it from that CGI board where the *nonexistent* 356 was.

If real, could a lot of it be fiberglass faux-finished to look like wood? Can't believe that anyone would actually make that, it would take someone w/ extremely high-priced modeling skills, plus god-knows-how-many hours of super-master woodworking labor, who would be paying for this??

Denis,

Road & Track has done several articles (including one recently) on this F50, as well as some previous automotive works by Livio DeMarchi, who is an astounding artisan, IMHO. More info on his past works are at his website

I like his Vespa as well:
