What's in your Keg?

I was just enjoying a nice draught Kiltlifterhttp://www.pelicanparts.com/support/smileys/wat6.gif from my Kegerator and thought “hmm, I wonder what the guys (or 2 gals) from the board have in their Kegerator. If you don’t have one, what would you have if you did?

I believe Curt has a sweet setup in his office (F1 block for a koozy and all  ) so your office can count.

Anyone else had the Kiltlifter? That brew’s got a bit of a punch. At 6%, a few of these puppies and I’ll put on a Kilt.

New Belgium Fat Tire

UconnTim97 03-09-2004 07:40 PM

Newcastle would be my choice, but unfortunatly I don't have a kegerator...

DonDavis 03-09-2004 07:53 PM

I've had Fat Tire in there and I must admit that so far, that's the favorite of the house.

mmm, NewCastle. Gotta get the Import setup this year.

Kegerator, eh?
You are livin' the good life, Davis!
I'd fill mine with Sierra Nevada Pale Ale.
:)

Kiltlifter is pretty good brew. . . I've had it while visiting a friend out there at ASU. . .

Normally, I go for the Sammy (Adams that is). Or homebrew (though I bottle it)

Usually Yuengling lager, but if was available here i'd go for true canadian La Bats blue as its made up nord.

What did the Arnolds Kegerator say on halloween? "I'll be bock"

Shuie 03-10-2004 06:21 AM

Budweiser :).

What about Abita? Can they put that in a keg? How do you get a keg of imported beer? The Guinness pub draft that comes in the pint cans would be cool to have in a keg.

How come all the beer and scotch threads see activity during the early morning? :)

While I enjoy a premium beer now and then, on a day to day basis I happen to be a Miller Genuine Draft kinda guy.

Paul T 03-10-2004 06:38 AM

Amstel right now, but I think I'll replace w/ a 1/2 of Stella when it is dry. By the way, I never had a kegerator until my gf gave me one for Christmas 3 years ago. She's now my fiance!

There are two draft beers that I love beyond reason. The first is Pyramids Draft India Pale Ale. It is nitrogenated like Guiness so the glass is full of cascading folds of tiny bubbles. Beautiful flavor.

The second is Anchor Steam Beer. While it is a decent beer in the bottle, it is really fantastic from a keg. Smooth, rich. For me, the perfect draught.

Guys...one look at my "keg", developed after drinking various brews for nearly 4 decades, and you'd swear off the stuff! :D

arcsine 03-10-2004 09:42 AM

It would have to be a cask of Fishtail IPA.

RickM 03-10-2004 09:59 AM

Give me Hacker-Pschorr Weiss and I'm a happy guy. Does that come in a keg?

91C2Wrencher picked my other two choices.

id10t 03-10-2004 12:51 PM

Newcastle, but there's usually a few of the majick wisget Guinness cans in the fridge, and occasionally Boddingtons as well.

Paul T 03-10-2004 01:14 PM

My all time favorite is Victory Brewing Hop Devil...

vash 03-10-2004 02:28 PM

ronin 03-10-2004 02:34 PM
