In that first video, in the last segment (the in-car part) listen to the gearbox when he shifts. What the hell is that?

I guess that's what happens when you have no bandwidth. Maybe if I can find them, I'll put them on my site for you guys if there is any interest.

If you're trying to gloat about ricers being fast, what's the point? I have a video of a Golf smoking a Supra by 2 full seconds in the 1/4, and the Supra got a head start. Also, the other month in Excellence they had a story about a guy who bought a new 911TT, send it off to get breathed on, and it runs 11.2s with 614RWHP, on stock internals. The motor was never opened.

So what's the point of these pissing contests?

the tranny sounded horrible... but thats the way its supposed to be.

If you know how to drive it ............ you are actually supposed to try and match the rpms. There are better choices for gearboxes for that car........ but oh well.

Not my idea of a daily driver ...

Im posting the videos for your viewing pleasure. Nothing more.

The vids work, so i dont know what the hell some of you are talking about.

And you know what i find funny? Cockyness from porsche owners. Wow a 911 can handle 614 on stock internals? La did da. a 2JZ can take up to 900. And i even heard of a man making something like 1300 on stock internals.

Not to mention the RB26DETT which both the above cars have. That can take even more power.

Again, i wasnt trying to say anything..im just really tired of people calling ALL japanese cars "ricers" that's very stupid.

The only thing Japanese cars are good for is reliability. Two of the three cars I ever owned were Japanese. I'm buying a new car next month, and guess what....it's Japanese.

When I think of perfomance cars, fun-to-drive cars, or cars that have road feel the last car I think of is Japanese cars.

They are appliances that go fast and nothing more.

You really learn to appreciate Japanese cars after multiple trip$ to the mechanic repairing the POS 928. What a joke of a car. At this point the finely engineered German piece of crap deserves nothing better than getting a close encounter with terra firma after plummeting 400 feet off a cliff. Very tempting.

I had a rice burner once - a 90 honda accord- had 285000 (yeh two hundred and eighty fife thousand) miles on it - bought it off the original owner who swears the engine was original - all my DPS mates nicknamed her the "Throw-down Honda" (oh yeh - with a K&N filter, bosch 4 plugs and a WIX oil filter - oooooh) - never missed a beat and got 35 mpg - I sold it to my best friend (one of my DPS pals) so that I could buy the 944.....well he is driving the Honda still, and the Porsche is still in the garage........I am hoping to be able to drive it soon....?????
