mercury, venus, mars, jupiter, and saturn can be seen about an hour after dusk.......for 2 weeks

Thanks Bell. I was just reading about this in the news.
Time to dust off my telescope. But for some serious sights I figure I should get out of the city for some spectacular viewing. |

I live in Tucson; have a big 'scope but don't use it anymore. Too many good pix from the probes. I use tripod mounted 63 x 9 binocs now. Skies here not that good anyway. Too many City lights just like the rest of this "fear of the dark" country.

On my wawy home, in the pcar, sunroof open I noticed the crescent moon and bright star right next to it. I knew it had to be a planet, sooo bright. I guess it's Saturn. Crazy that we can see something so many millions of miles away.
