someone having a really bad day..

i was stuck in three hours of traffic hell today. turns out, some dude felt there was nothing to really live for anymore and climbed down to the crossmembers of the bay bridge for some suicide attempt. i guess my traffic woes were insignificant once i got some perspective...

I was on a sailboat near the Bay Bridge when a jumper landed 100' away. The sound of the smack was unforgettable. By the time we got near him, he had died, and when we saw what was left after hitting the water, we left him in the water until the coast guard arrived. They said those injuries were typical.

Not a pretty sight; I'd bet that most jumpers wouln't do it if they could see what happens.

holy crap!
i have climbed to the top of the bay bridge. it is unreal up there, the thought of letting go and jumping must be a huge instinct to overcome. i dont see how folks do it.

I'm not sure if he's crazy, but he's certainly indecisive.

Reminds me of the blonde and the brunette sittings in a bar watching news coverage of a guy sitting on a bridge threatening to jump. The brunette says "Betcha $20 he jumps" The blonde says "You're on!"

Sure enough, he jumps, and the blonde takes a $20 from her purse and hands it to the brunette.

The brunette sez, "I can't take your money; I have to confess: I saw this story already on the 5 o'clock edition of the news."

"So did I" said the blonde, "I just didn't think he was stupid enough to do it twice."

Q: What is a blonde's definition of safe sex?

Q: Why did the blonde have a bruised belly-button?

A: Because her boyfriend was blonde too!
