Anyone in Italy?

I will be in Portofino on 4/5 and Rome 4/6 any Pelicans live there?

Any Porsche places I should not miss? Anyone down to give me a tour, or maybe a quick ride around town in their car?

Maybe an engine drop I am sure my girlfriend wouldn't mind?

By the way I have only seen one early 911. It was a rough bahama yellow 911T Targa in Monaco. Seen several newer P cars. The coolest thing I saw was an F40 rippin around town.

Wish I was going to be here in May 23, they're already begining to set up for the Grand Prix. The guard rails are going up, I actually walked the track today and my lap time was probably the slowest ever.

Me and Isabo are at the other end of the country. If you get no joy from other Pelicans. Visit the Porschemania site (http://212.177.106.21/cgi-bin/discus/discus.cgi) It's an Italian Porsche site, they seem to have a very active section around Rome.
If you write in one of the forums (I think most speak at least some English) I think you will get a response. The best forum is probably "Porschisti e Porscheisti".

Some of the others are paying members only.

Where is Portofino?

Actually, you're probably not interested... I don't have a Porsche.

Just inside the French border. Mostly a yachtie stop. I spent a lot of time there back in my yachtie days. Beautiful. American Express used the harbor a lot in their print ads for a long time.
