Now buyers will surely be forming a line with their $75K checks at their nearest Studie dealer, wherever that may be... I agree that the great Raymond Loewy would be amused (at best) by all of this. Maybe I'm alone on this one, but that original Avanti has got to be one of the ugliest cars every built ......
OTOH, I like the Cayenne, so I've obviously got extremely poor taste ...... Since we're in OT, here's some flamebait - Vic Elford at speed!

I thought the big news this year for Detroit was the industry moving away from SUVs. Seeing that big lummox on wheels is disappointing. I know I'll get stuck behind one on the 101 freeway.

Hmmmm ... yet another. SAAB bites the bullet. Well, actually GM bit the bullet for them. A SAAB body on a Chevy Trailblazer chassis ......
 BTW, I rented a Trailblazer on a recent trip to Colorado. What an absolute POS. Numb steering feedback, sluggish acceleration, tippy around the corners, strange AWD system .... I could go on, but why. |
