Wh@t`s T H E B*E*S*T Sp@M F`I`L`T`E`R ?
I probably get 20 junk e-mail messages for every one that's legit on my main e-mail account. Cox is my ISP and they really don't care. I have a Yahoo account that I use for public posting and it rarely gets spam (?).
Until Cox decides to do something on their end, what's the best program to use? |
Good subject title. I got a headache just looking at it! If you use Outlook, the Junk mail filter for Outlook 2003 is very good. I use that along with Cloudmark SpamNet and rarely if ever get a spam message that makes it into my inbox. I probably get an average of 100 Spam messages a day. I run a mail server though, so that's part of my problem.

Mozilla Thunderbird. It misses maybe 1 every other day.

Like the last guy said, one of the mozilla products. Takes a week or two of training, then the just just starts disappearing...

MailWasher
There is a FREE demo version that is limited to only one e-mail account....but it works like a dream. Has a lot of cool features, like "Bounce Back" which lets you return an "unknown address" to the sender which indicates to them that your address is not a valid one. Takes a week or two for it to "learn" but once it's got the gist of your e-mail situation, it's really effective. Randy |
