I have talked to several guys in my industry who have installed Banks stuff and they love it. I would say that it is too loud for my taste as a daily driver (I did 45,000 just in my daily last year). The guys I talked had the same person put them on except for one person that just did the exhaust kit. I saw a hotrod program on the tele were they installed the kit and it looked like someone with wrenching skills/mechanical knowledge would not have a problem DIYing. Good Luck!

They make all kinds of power, but are seriously loud. If you like the Kenworth sound/image, go for it; if you think a PS is loud enough then I'd want to hear on before I spent that kind of money on a truck that's close to 40k out of the box.

I have seen lots of them.

IMHO they are way too mush $'s. You can make most of the same mods for 1/2 $. They just put it in a Kit form.
Does this friend want it for towing or fun.
The eg temps go through the roof with them. Most people have to send stuff back to be adjusted a few times.
I have a TS performance 125hp extreme chip and propane injection system. This gives you a nice boost for about 1K$ vs. 3K$ plus for a banks stage three.
They do have well made stuff and it is easy to install.
Lots of info on the www.thedieselpages.com and http://www.ts************************/home.asp

this is a classic case of dude with too much money. i tried to talk him out of it, but no luck. the F350 already is loaded to the gills with entertainment crap. DVD, gamecube, satelite TV. bullcrap like that. i have yet to see him tow anything, but he really insist on the stuff. i understand he is going to let a jobless friend do the work. i just may stay out of it, because my heart wouldnt be into doing this work. last i heard, there will be an engine break installed. i guess a small truck "jake brake" system. personally, i would have more fun, if the truck blew up. haha. the dude would just buy another.
