Indy 500 Entry List
There are 35 entries for this year's 500 - down from the usual 100 or so in the year's before the breakup. Of the 35, there are only 25 confirmed driver-car combinations - the remaining 10 are extra cars. I wonder if they'll fill the traditional 33-car field? OTOH, I don't really care .......

Tony Goerge has said that 33 cars is not necessary for the race. He said he will run less if there are not enough to fill a traditional field. In my opinion, that would really hurt the race. But then again, I don't really care either.

The mystique is gone, but I will still watch it. Bump day was always a must see, good drama. That's gone.

I haven't watched since 96. Not a protest. Just not interested. Maybe I'll watch this year since all the old CART teams are there. OTOH, usually fertilize my lawn on Memorial Day .....

CART is still alive guys and this year they will get a pass button with something like 30 seconds of boost per race. Tracy's will be used up by lap three I am sure!!
