Sounds promising. Maybe there is a future for a boom box in one of my cars.

I read about the research for this in Popular Science back in the mid-90's (and PSU was not involved, IIRC). I guess with better materials technology it's much more feasible now...

Supposedly there is an animated tutorial on the prototype system that they will be using. I can't find on the BenJerry site.

Probably not as high tech, but Lexus uses a Peltier electric element in their seats for extra heat and cooling. Current runs one direction and heat is produced. Reverse polarity and it produces cool air.
