Didn't realize the Carerra GT was avail. yet
So I go out for my Saturday morning run last weekend, leave my place and go two blocks down to the water, called Bayshore Blvd., here in Tampa. As I am just getting into my pace I look over to the biggest house on the water, owned by a guy named Don Wallace (who sold his father's huge RV/bus dealership business for over 600 million a couple of years ago), a low and behold a brand spankin' new silver Carerra GT sitting in the front driveway (next to his Bentley limo). I stop dead in my tracks. This guy has some unbelievable stuff, Enzo, a 1966 Ferarri with 1500 miles on it, numerous classics of all makes and models. So I continue my run determined to come back with the digital and snap some photos close up (he let me gawk close up at the Enzo previously). On way back, ITS GONE. Missed the photo op. I will try again next week. Normally Saturdays he has some exotic parked out front, so I am hoping its the new Porsche again on Sat.
I don't know, maybe I'm just being a 35 year old kid but that was a heck of a sight to see in that driveway. Anyone else seen your neighbors, friends, relatives with one of these? I didn't know they were even avail. yet. Apparently, Reeves (a local porsche dealership since the early days) was permitted to get 2. Wallace has 1 and the other is committed to an unknown RICH GUY. If anyone is intetrested I will post photos when I see that sucker in the driveway again.

At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul! |

With toys like that, he won't have $600 million for long.

Seeing it is one thing. Hearing it is fantastic. I have a video of the GT chirping the tires, and the exhaust note is incredible.

Oh come everyone knows the Pepperwagon Turbo is by far the best Porsche out there. Just ask Curt
![]() I would love to be able to drive one but I doubt that is in the cards anytime soon. I did get a ride in a 959 once and I have driven a F40 and a 288 GTO on several occasions
