Conservatives would NEVER bash an opponent. Ain't their style...They are too sophisticated for those kinds of shennanigans.

11. You have to believe that the military, not corrupt politicians, start wars.
Hehe, so Conservatives believe that corrupt politicians start wars. Hehehehe. :D :D :D |
of course, if they're democrats :D

Only corrupt democrats start wars, silly. Republicans who start wars are heroes. If you disagree, you're close-minded and a bleeding-heart liberal.

Porsche-o-Phile: Kerry has a message? Since when? I missed a memo. Unless you refer to "things are reallyreallyreally bad and it's all W's fault I'll make everything better (details to follow...)" as a "message."
What I was referring to, directly as it turns out, is the "Oh, well somebody's been listening to Limbaugh" delivered, full stop, as though it's some sort of rebuttal; or some bizarro feeble attempt to discredit the orator while evading the merits of the message being delivered. Do conservatives lapse into this -- yeah. Those are the conservatives I don't particularly care for. However, it is the stock-in-trade of high-profile Liberals. Just tune into it and you'll hear it a lot. Something will be said, a question or issue raised and you'll get a permutation of one of these: the Rush Limbaugh origin "defense", without addressing the merits b/c it de facto concludes there are no merits to be addressed (mmmm... craven), or that its from the "Republican Attack Machine" full stop (evidently that's a reworked "Vast Right-Wing Conspiracy," b/c the VRWC proved correct too frequently), or as Kerry pulled during a TV interview with someone who saw him throw his medals over the fence, assert that there's a messenger (in this case Kerry blamed the medal-tossing-lie issue on W personally) then attack the messenger you've just attributed for something entirely unrelated to the issue (which Kerry did by claiming, in a barefaced lie that W hadn't released his military records and couldn't "prove" (to whose satisfaction I can only guess) that W had performed his service in the Guard). Kerry couldn't deal with the message, created a "strawmessenger" and attacked it!! And then lost to the strawmessenger, IMHO. Attempt to wield a sword, you'd better learn how to parry with one...
