web site redesign: critique away...
Did a ground-up redesign of the Simpleflower site. It is still evolving (need to add random image rotation to the rest of the band photos on the right, clean up the sights page, and do proper smaller popup windows for the mp3 files, but what are you gonna do. Comments welcome:

Wow! I just listened to the tracks. Beautiful! The instrumentals are a little reminiscent of Steely Dan. Very nice. Love the vocals, too.

 Otherwise, site looks great. Maybe make the "sounds" "shows" "sights" text links a little more prominent. Shouldn't you at least mention PelicanParts in your bio or at least talk about your porsche??? Venus is cute jürgen |

thanks for the feedback. The EP isn't for sale yet...I'm finishing mixing as we speak. Should be ready to "drop" in a few weeks (yo, bling, word, etc)
Actually New Yorican is not a typo, as she is Puerto Rican, born in New York. I think I've got a picture of me and Venus smiling somewhere. I'll have to look. Those in SoCal are encouraged to come to the Knitting Factory show on May 2. We're also going to book a tour heading north (definitely NorCal, maybe OR/WA) tentatively for late summer/early fall. Looks good. A agree, a little more resolution on the pics. Probably needed a little more light level in the apt. Crop in closer so we can ID your mug. I was mildly blown away by the level of professionalism when I first heard the Cal Tech Jazz bands. Not surprised you were a part of that. Exothermic Jazz indeed. Best wishes, Sherwood |
