alright folks, here it is. the totally apolitical o/t thread you've been waiting for

with all this proliferation of the latest in high-tech in my home (just recently acquired DSL, wireless and my first bathroom with running water) I had a major epiphany that will shake the technological world to its core and leave the face of humanity changed forever...

(drumroll please)

I have made the earth-shattering discovery that I can surf the web from the comfort of my own porcelain throne! yes, that's right folks, countless millenia of human technological advancement have culminated in the ability for mankind (as women would never claim to be so crude) to peruse the world's electronic treasures from the most hallowed of sanctums; the good 'ole W/C

this led me to a thought, and that being what states are you listers in when making your visits to this wonderful forum? at work? at home? on the deck? cutting the grass? changing the oil? servicing the wife??? (at present, I'm in bed with dragbikes on Speed out of my left eye and a pos HP notebook on my lap)

the imagination staggers. what say ye?

My throne is about 4" below sea level regardless of tidal level at all times. Yes, on a boat.

My PowerBook keeps my lap toasty warm when I'm on the can. The tile-over-a-concrete-slab flooring can get mighty chilly out here in the desert night....

I ususally reserve my ***** for my postings...why waste a good load I always say....

I say public transportion (and rest rooms) will become more popular as soon as wireless internet access is commonplace.

Think how productive we could be if we spend the morning rush hours reviewing our favorite porn sites before a cold shower at work. You wouldn't have to do at work.:)
