World's funniest thread
 

we've had them before. the search for the longest thread, the search for the dumbest thread, the threads-on-threads thread (get your minds out of the gutter) and so on. but not in recent memory do I recall a thread heralding the world's funniest thread. well, just recently I came across this little gem

and I haven't stopped laughing since. I really do need to stop or the rest of my coworkers will have me hauled away

without a doubt! brilliance and humor go hand-in-hand, and there are numerous displays of both from many members

The bit about tossing midgets really brought it all together for me. This board somehow collects a bunch of pretty smart guys. Weird...

... What am I doing here?

I was trying to schedule a service call for my lift yesterday. The guy asked me what the problem is, and I explained that when it's almost all the way up, it leaks hydraulic fluid.

Tech: "Hmm. You probably blew a seal"
Me: "Can you just fix it, and leave my personal life out of it?"

(yes, I really did say that. He didn't get it.)

That's pretty funny. Too bad he didn't get it. His loss, I guess. In fact, that's really funny. :)
