Problem Uploading Photo to Post

I've uploaded photos before. I'm using the same software that came with my camera and sometimes Adobe to format to jpg.

Sometimes Pelican upload tells me "We're sorry, but you may only upload image files (with an extension of .gif or .jpg). Please go back and select a different file."

What am I doing wrong. I've tried several reformats and renames but no luck. The files are labled .jpg or .JPG but Pelican says no.

Confused.

Thanks,

You know about the 100k size limit, check for spaces in your file names, pelican doesn't like them.

Hugh

I've got the file size small enough but there's another problem.

Pelican doesn't like spaces in the file name, is that right?

Cliff

Thanks for the tip but I'm doing something else wrong. I tried renaming a file without any spaces or weird characters and it still won't load. I'll keep trying.

Thanks.

I'm no expert.. but I have a file name without spaces and then a period with jpg at the end.. and if you tried to load with a name and then got rejected you'll have to change some spelling.

FileName.jpg

I tried a file name with 2 letters then .jpg and it rejected the file. One item might be an issue everytime I try to rename with .jpg it saves it as .JPG. I don't know what that's all about. I may have issues with my software. I've only been using this camera and affiliated software for about one month and this problem has occured at least twice.

Thanks.
