spot the Cayenne

How many seconds did it take you to spot the Cayenne?

Distracting, isn't it?

The truly disgusting part is it isn't too much less expensive than the distractions. . .

You tell me - for a hundred grand, which one would YOU rather drive?

BlueSkyJaunte 05-05-2004 06:59 AM

Meanwhile, in that photo the Cayenne owner is thinking, "Dude, everyone is checking me out. That guy behind those red thingies is even taking my picture!"

CJFusco 05-05-2004 07:59 AM

i think the one in the middle costs a BIT more than a hundred grand :)

that being said, i'd put my money on the expensive orange one. I believe the color is called "Orange Crush?"

Porsche-O-Phile 05-05-2004 09:09 AM

True, the F-cars are probably over 100K, but STILL the Cayenne ain't cheap - that's all I was trying to say. If you're in the market to spend a ridiculous amount of money on a car (ridiculous being over $80K, let's say for sake of arguement) what would you prefer?

Hell, for the price of a Cayenne, I'd buy two NICE 951s and maybe a cabriolet and still have plenty of money to put in the bank!

All I want to know is what happened when the light turned green?

IanW505 05-05-2004 09:18 AM

Is that a McLaren F1 in the middle? aren't they close to 1.2 million or some rediculous amount?

Maybe I'm wrong, but I thought that only the LM came in that color... "orange crush" or whatever it's called. Can anyone confirm?

EDIT: Nevermind. Just asked a buddy and I was wrong. The LM-only color is yellow. It is different externally in that it has OZ Chrono Magnesium wheels, the front splitter and a rear spoiler... In case anyone was interested.

I'd say the 355 is well within, and probably quite a bit lower, than $100k.

CJFusco 05-05-2004 11:50 AM

Used F355: $80K-ish
New 360: $120K-ish
Used McLaren F1: $1,000,000+
New Porsche Cayenne Turbo: $95,000-ish

The McLaren would have probably smoked the Ferraris - I could just imagine the officer trying to call that in when his radar detector goes off -
