The budget was balanced almost a decade later when a democrat was in office.

The TRILLIONS of dollars of debt racked up by ronnie and bush still stand unpaid.

Almost a third of all the federal taxes we pay goes just to paying interest on this debt without even touching the principle. Now our current commander in theif is adding a couple trillion more to make matters worse. I am certain the people financing this debt love this stupidity though.

It just wont be our granchildren paying for these recent administrations' mistakes. I could take dozens of generations to even start to put a dent in the damage your 'heros' have done.

And to answer your other question, the spanish american was was another travesty of a BS war fought to expand the american empire. I imagine you are all for that global slaughter that was also labelled as the US bringing democracy and liberty to oppressed savages.
