Local Strawberries are ripe!
We just finished our hoard of them frozen last year.
I do love freaking fresh berries :-)

But first, a ride around the airport- Three Fingers and Pilchuck are still sporting a good amount of snow, this too makes me happy 😃

This was 'photoshopped' before Photoshop was invented. Old school in-camera double-exposure. You would take one photo, but not advance the film to the next frame. Then take another photo on top of the first exposure. In this case, the bridge was shot with a wide angle lens and the moon was shot with a 1000mm mirror lens. There was a lot of guess work and some rules of thumb for exposure that I've long since forgot. And then you didn't know if anything turned out until days later.

Nice work Curt!
You bring back lots of memories of my crazy efforts in a college darkroom while studying B&W photography in the early 80’s.
I’d expose print paper with one negative and then switch to another and re- expose.
Also lots of trial and error, one that I did appeared to have a nice kitchen table set up inside a boxcar.
It won best of show at a photography contest at the Everett Boeing facility.
I was shocked and didn’t even attend the event since I was putting in lots of overtime hours.

With digital that’s pretty obscure knowledge and technique now, my dream back then was to be a photographer for National Geographic 🤷🏼*♂️

I’ve read about this breast plate (?), many times over the years, and finally got to see it today. The guy never stood a chance.

I’m guessing two bullet holes in this one

I thought this sliding door should be used more often. Peugeot, but no model.
