should be good...
Michael and JPM on the front row tomorrow...look for a fun first turn. And Sato qualified 3rd. BAR/Honda is comeback of the year...
|
fack you and you're Teeeeevo.
:D :D :D :D i've been watching more nascar this year than f1......i gotta get me one of them smart tv recording boxes. |
dude...tivo rocks. Not only does it automatically get all the F1 coverage (including practice), but also F1 Decade. Last night I watched Schumacher take 2nd at the '94 GP of Spain...and he was stuck in 5th gear for most of the race!

lol, I actually remember that one. so, what does all this tivo fun cost anyway?
|
I'm working graveyard, so I will be getting paid to spectate.:D I hope crybaby doesn't take out Micheal on the first lap. That will probable be his only chance.
|
lol, so I wasn't the only one to get that impression last week. maybe that coach should have given JPM the award instead
|
we have Directv, so I went to Best Buy and bought a combo receiver/dvr for $99. Tivo service is an extra 7 bucks a month or so..I can't remember. The only problem is I'll have to swap to a bigger HD soon, or figure a way to burn the races to DVD.
|
Todd, what kind of helmet did you buy? I picked up one of these last week.

Juan Pablo Montoya Williams-BMW +20 Laps.
He must be crying another river. They should just give his seat to someone like Webber. |

Planning on doing some racing....? |
Todd, you probably know this, but www.weaknees.com has some great Tivo HD upgrades. I haven't used them myself, but I've heard good things.

I bought the cheapest DVD Recorder sold at Costco - works fine, a little over-complicated but workable. I hear the Gateway DVD Recorder is good too and perhaps a bit simpler (and cheaper yet).
TIVO has been terrific for our household. The kids have been trained to watch only what's available on TIVO, so they watch only what I record, which means 75% of what they watch is science and nature documentaries and other "educational" programs. No more endless hours of crappy cartoons. I, of course, get to watch as much racing, travel, fishing, airplane, 60s classics (the Saint, original Star Trek, etc), BBC, and similar cool stuff as I have time for. No more endless channel-surfing, trying to find something tolerable. TIVO is the best money I've ever spent on TV. |
