Nikon D70 owners...
so i've read the reviews on all the different sites and need to figure out if i should beg, borrow and steal for for this camera. i need the help of a current nikon D70 owner. i would kindly ask that someone take a pic(s) and send me the raw image so that i can review it. in return i will work my photoshop magic on it and mail back a high end fuji pictro print (photographic quailty from a $50K printer). i work as a graphic designer/photoshop tech for a commercial printer which of course has some very nice ouput devices (aka contract proofs).
need a little help in deciding if it's time to give up my nikon fe2. |

Bob,
I'm sure you've been here (http://www.dpreview.com/). You can download pics taken with a D-70 and review yourself. May not be raw files however. Reviews are very favorable. Sherwood |

Bob, I own an FE2 as well...why would you ever give up on it? They will have to pry the FE2 from my cold, dead fingers.

sherwood thanks for the link. i didn't read far enough to see the download samples the first time i skimmed the site. i'm not sure i trust the images. i could have been manipulated to being uploaded. the motocylce one has a siginificant amount of noise, artifacts, pixelization.
osidak - thanks i will send larger files from a better scan. it was just a quickie job to send pics to a friend. really on the fence on this issue - very tempting. maybe i should continue to learn to use my fe2. this is rolly's car from monterey:
