Need Win 2000 CD

Okay, I've got an extra PC (WIN 98) that I set up for the kids to use. I bought a Wireless Adapter (USB), lo and behold, it only has drivers compatible with WIN 2000 and XP. For this PC, I am not interested in spending the $120 for a copy of either software, as I could replace the PC for a couple hundred, and it would come with the XP as well!

Any of you guys have a copy of either OS that I could buy? I was thinking if someone had replaced a PC, and they still had a CD around. I'm looking for a LEGAL option, or other suggestions.

What kind of adapter is it? I'd be slightly surprised if the maker didn't have the drivers you need on their website.

Take the adapter back, get a new one, and make sure you read the system requirements on the side of the box first?

The adapter is a LinkSys WUSB54G. Linksys confirmed (web site & tech support) they only have drivers for 2000 and XP for their wireless products. Tech support was apprehensive, but offered that as a minimum I need WIN 98 SE. Browsing the tech boards, I've seen the same options. Anyone running a WIN 98 machine Wireless-G? What brand are you running?

I ran that exact adapter on a 98 machine, and it worked, but... the setup interface didn't always work, so configuring it was difficult. Once configured it worked fine.
