Commencement Speeches - who gave yours

It's that time of year again: graduation!

Just saw part of GW's commencement speech to LSU graduates - it was very good. When George is rehearsed and ready, he's really quite affective.

So I was wondering of the Pelicanites out there, who gave their commencement speeches when they graduated college. The poet Maya Angelou gave ours - and was very inspiring.

So who gave yours?

Hamilton College Class of 2002
Speech by Christine Todd Whitman, current head of EPA and former Gov. of NJ, as well as Hamilton Graduate.

Don't remember the undergrad, but for grad school it was David Pottruck, CEO of Charles Schwab.

Don't remember, honestly. Was too drunk to stay awake and listen.

i won't be graduating this year, but rumor is George W. himself is supposed to speak for the AF Academy graduation. Most people just come for the air show after graduation anyway. Either way, it'll be interesting.

I don't remember because I wasn't paying attention. I was too worried about them not calling my name when it was my turn or calling my name and then saying "I'm sorry, there has been a mistake, you are not graduating." Fortunately, I got a D- in that stupid computer class, not an F like I deserved.

The military academies rotate through the top couple guys each year. The prez does one academy every four years, and when he comes to the USNA, he pardons the restrictees per some ancient tradition. Seems like my year was SecDef, and the speech was totally political -- had nothing to do with the commencement. Oh, well.
