How to become a better singer?
 

Are there any vocalists on the boards?
I know ther are some music people, i was wondering if there are any excercises one could do to improve singing ability. I know how to practice on the guitar to improve, but i dont know of anything i could practice to decrease my tone deafness.

Funny. When I first clicked on the thread I thought the title said "How to become a better sniper". Guess not. Can't help you with the singing either. I sing like a wounded dog.

There is a great book and CD titled "Secrets of Singing" by Jeffrey Allen, available on amazon.com. The CDs (high and low voice) are particularily good... ranging in degree of difficulty of excercises. Work with this book for a month and your range and tone will increase significantly. The package costs about $40. He has one for the male and one for the female voice.
