What internet news sources do you read?

I've not seen this addressed on the board and I've been wondering about it for awhile.

I'm looking for other sources to broaden the scope of what I find in my shortlist below.

Here's my shortlist:

foxnews
drudgereport
wall street journal
wsjopinionjournal (email subscribed)
forbes

TIA for any additional sources and for not slapping me with the pancake bunny!

Cheers,
Bob

http://news.google.com

That just about covers all the "real" news. Then there is fark.com (its not news, its Fark) and slashdot.org (news for nerds, stuff that matters).

Pelican OT Board! :D :D :D

With all the commentary we get here from EVERY side of any given issue, this has to be the fairest and most balanced news source of all!

dj: At least I didn't get the bunny with the toilet paper on his head! Let's see you find that one! http://www.pelicanparts.com/support/smileys/nahnah.gif

id: All the times I use google and never noticed a news page.

randy: Although it boils my blood at times, I do enjoy reading the salvos between flintstone, lendaddy, et al and 350, speeder, and joeclarke.

Bob

edit: Thanks Schrup! arrrgh
I thought I was the only one who saved those.
BTW, I've enjoyed your posts. The dented mustang post had me hooked.

In my opinion, that's a pretty narrow range, all right.

I use abcnews.com, occasionally, but mostly, I do not have a single touchpoint for news. If something comes up of interest, I do Google searches on individual topics and that takes me to a huge range of sites.

Some I've been to lately:

Union of Concerned Scientists http://www.ucsusa.org/

http://www.tompaine.com/

http://www.rense.com

http://www.fair.org

Some are shrill and wacko, but you want range; you got range.
