That movie was filmed in Montreal last summer.

Slacker;
Oh man, we left coasters get wiped out too? Hey, wait a minute..... More people care about the east coast??????? Sounds like a poll coming. PS. I got out of the trip to Westhampton Beach. Seeya next time. |
I saw the Porsche on a Channel 7 (ABC) movie review - before the "crushing." '73 S it looked like. Garage queen at that. Eh, it deserved it.
Seriously, there's a good business in L.A. for people with classic cars. Even my old '74 has been hit up a couple times to be in a flick - it's another Hollywood instance of being in the right place at the right time. In one case, I was approached by a guy towing a replica James Dean car. He even had release forms with him. Would I do it? Hell no! You ever see a car after a stuntman's finished with it? Talk about ragged-out. :eek: |
I watched the movie last night...not bad....the 911 was smooshed in Los Angeles, not New York, by a bus.
Oh, and the actor started the car by turning a switch on the RIGHT side of the steering column. doh! Per |
Great movie, totally gripping. Apparently made more money than Jurassic Park the first weekend. The Porsche scene was gratuitously brutal, though.
