Well, as another Michigan guy I'll get my vote in before this gets yanked to the OT section.

Another native Detroiter, now transplanted to sunny, sandy and canyon-filled So Cal.

Ive gotta vote Pistons here too to be loyal to my old team. Isaiah looks good tonight and Laimbeer is mixing it up as usual. Pistons by 6 at the end of 3.

Born in Detroit, the Pistons baby!

It's Detroit 71, Lakers 60 as I type this.

Can't blame you guys for voting for your home team BUT no way are the Pistons going to beat the Lakers......

It's a long plane ride from Denver to D-town, and Rip is going to be too much for Mr. Bryant. Add Sheed and Wallace on the rocks, and you have a cocktail that's going to be too much for the Lakers.

Wonder how many Jaaack sightings we're going to be blessed with in Birmingham/Royal Oak

I thought he meant, "Do I buy some pistons or 2005 Lakers' season tickets?"

I like both teams, but being a Michigander I gotta root root root for the home team. Interesting win last night. They did not shut down Shaq or Kobe and still demolished them? Hmmm, perhaps the defense IS to much for the rest of the team. Although LA generally doesn't play until they have too. Or if you're of the tin foil hat club (350?) you could say that they did it on purpose to make more $ on a longer series

Thom, it is a bad format. The early series took foever with 4-5 days off between games, stupid. People could not stay interested. FWIW I am not a big baseball fan, but their format makes it interesting to watch since it's on nearly every night, keeps you involved. The Finals is a little better only taking 1 day off at a time.
