Not complaining because this is a good car mag... but Ive received the past 2 issues of R&T which I do not subscribe to. Both featuring Porsche.

I do subscribe to Excellence... could this be some special promotion?

If they send me an invoice, Ill probably just pay it. :cool:

That's one of the deals going on. OTOH, I get invoices for Time which I don't get anymore.

Those aren't invoices. They are Time's "clever" way of getting people to subscribe. I fell for it once.

actually r&t has a good deal once you get started. they have sent me a bunch of $7 a year extension offers. i bit, i think i will be getting it until i retire.

9 magazine sent me a second freebie recently. i at this point will not be suscribing to that one.

kinda curious at to what magazines you guys subscribe to?
me: cycle world, maxims, automobile, saveur.

i typically pick up at the stands: outdoorlife, R&T.

Same thing happened to me after I bought the system for the car. Got a note with the second one that said "Thanks for buying from us, as a sign of appreciation, we've given you a 1 yeard subscription to R&T."

Just in time for the Porsche specials...I think they've had a feature on one every issue this year so far.

I have been getting Playboy (or maybe it's Penthouse) for the last three years without asking for it. Comes in a plastic cover so it's discrete. I called a while ago to tell them to stop but.......

Anyone want a box full of unopened mags?

that plastic cover is so mail service folks dont shower it in DNA in dark back rooms of the post office. same thing with excellence.
