how about a bling-bling thread......
i'll start................
this was in the shop today, spinner wheels, suade/leather interior (tan/blue) and clumsy doors. they refabricated hinges so they'd only open about 1/3 of normal then they flip forward.......average engineering imo. it did have a mobile satalite antenna on the roof for all the tv's :D http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1087269421.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1087269444.jpg |
i saw a rusted out ford pos hooptie with hubcap spinners on it. i just about crashed due to laughing my butt off. at least he didnt have real ones on it. sorry no pictures though.
|
I saw those hub cap spinners at a pepboys. I looked at the price and was shocked. They are made of really cheap plastic and they where charging $50 for a set of two.
Looked to be 14 inchers. The 15's where sold out. Guess it is better than the $1000's that those anchors would cost. As for the picture...... Why? |
I was driving my 911 behind a guy with those hubcaps. Stupid jerk wouldn't let me pass, every time I sped up, he did. I was afraid one would detach from the wheel and I'd run it over.
|
Those semi-scissor door look hard to get past.
|
You build doors like that into a car to make it harder to get into. It's like an automatic filter for fat chicks, you see. Can't get into my car? Must be too fat, take a hike, lady! Really simplifies the process of selection.
|
the fat ones climb in through the back door.
|
not fair, dont you work for a stereo shop? you must see the best examples. oh, i bet the tire shops see better.

http://pff.hostkansas.com/pffimages/curls3_3.jpg Does a chop-top, gull-winged Fiero on 18s count as bling? |
Here is a Cayenne Turbo we saw at the local Dealer. It was SICK YO!

I wouldn't consider the Fiero bling. It's too clean, too original. It I would replace those wheels with something more proportionate, like 16's.
-Z. |
Those are Semi-Scissor doors as well. Gullwings hinge entirely from the roof.
|
Check out this e-Bay beauty! (It used to be a 914)
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1087324780.jpg |
Well, the biggest problem with the 914 was trying to figure out which end of the door to open. You had to look to see which side the steering wheel was on to figure out which end was the front. :) But boy, I wouldn't be caught dead in that cartoony thing ...
Dan |
I got your Bling right here YO
|
more......i forget where i found these.probably here :D

"Does a chop-top, gull-winged Fiero on 18s count as bling?"
THAT is not gull-winged. THIS is gull-winged: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1087356578.jpg :) |
Guys, I'm pretty sure that Cayenne is owned by a Pelican member...
|
I don't think those wheels look bad on that Cayenne...

I forget the guys name but he also had a 996 turbo cab with 19" HRE's on it. Now THAT looked good! |
i have seen some "bling" that looks good.....it's not all bad, as long as it's done with some taste :D
|
I can't believe it! A non-political thread in OT that's made it to page two!
Wow. I mean, wow. :D Bring on the BLING! -Z-man. |

LOL that's great :D
you know a local group of amish kids (menonite....whatever) use their buggy's at night so ohio law requires that they have lights, so with the batteries that power the lights they figured out that you can have neon and boomin stereos too..........i'll have to find some pics :D |
this was in the shop today :D

the center section on the mini was also painted with that flip flop chameleon stuff :D
|
Confused bling. Maybe there is hope? I think the goatee dude is jealous.

Who/What Exactly Is a Rice-Boy? Rice-Boy is a stereotype. The typical Rice-Boy can be identified by his car, or rather what he does to it. Generally, Rice-Boy will start out with a car that was not meant to go fast (typically a Honda Civic), and attempt to "fix it up," usually consisting of aftermarket rims, lowering springs and an aftermarket exhaust system with a large exhaust tip. Most Rice-Boy cars (or "Rice Rockets") have the usual complement of stickers proudly displaying features that the car might or might not have, most notably, the Honda VTEC sticker from the later model Preludes, and the plaques from the later model Integras. Rice-Boys do not exclusively drive Japanese cars. There are quite a few fake Mustang '5.0's and Camaro Z28's out there, as well as quite a few strange looking Neons. Under the Hood of Rice-Boy's Car Of course, most of the modifications done by Rice-Boy do not actually increase the performance of his car by any significant amount, but rather, try to give the appearance of high-performance. What most Rice-Boys seem to not know is that many of the things they do to their cars to make them faster actually hurt the performance. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1087587595.jpg TRD power ?????? http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1087587615.jpg Nice wanna be rotor on this one to cover up that tiny drum. WTF??? |
