A Man of Wealth and Taste Confesses
 

As I staggered in this mornining from another night of being a man of wealth and taste. I started thinking about Gawd and all the responsibilities he has. U know i wouldn't take the job if it was offered to me. So I guess that doesn't make me very much of a man of wealth and taste does it? I think I could settle for being a Demi Gawd though.

You know Gawd has an awefull lot of responsibility on his plate. He has to make all the utilities work in the Universe, and when something goes wrong with the plumbing he has to be there to fix it. He really never gets out of the office and you can forget any kind of vacation time. Even when he calls it a day and goes home somebody is always making a request of him to to do something. So he just never gets a rest, he's even called into the office on Sunday. No I think the job of being Gawd is a little too much for me, it's just alittle too much responsibilty.

I'd keep your resume' up to date though, just in case. :D

Nah, Gawd is just like any other CEO. You believe that he is in charge, listening to you
and making sure that eveything is running fine. But in reality, he is playing golf, spending the money of your hard work, having a good old time. He keeps on telling you to invest in him though, just like the ENRON people. And before you know it, all your retirement is gone. Don`t trust God, just trust yourself as you are god. God I am, reminds me the title of a highly spiritual book I read a while ago. There it is:

It is the purpose of this material to develop the magnificent tool of True Perception with which we align for the birth into the dawn of a new day in creation, the Age of Love. As the chrysalis is the bridge between caterpillar and the butterfly, so is True Perception the bridge between third level and fourth level density, between separation and Oneness.

The universe with all its beings, in seen and unseen dimensions, joins with us in the grandest of all celebrations, the jubilance of rebirth into Light - the dance of the Gods - for where Earth, and we as her children go, is the fulfilment of the soul's ancient cry: We are coming home!

Well Tabs, I was just trying to have a discussion on God, since this what your thread seemed to suggest. And each person percieves God in a different manner, which is a very intersesting way of knowing other people. But of course, we can make it a thread on trashing any out of the box spirtual beleifs, or we can discuss your inabitity at taking responsibilites in life, which is also what your thread suggests. It is really up to you, magnificent prophet.

Hey Guy I have plenty O responsibility...I have to ahhh...make sure the dogs are fed....and....ahhhh...yeah....keep the R Gruppe in line so they don't get to swell headed....Yeah thats the ticket.

I think that my post had more to do with how Great our Father in Heaven is and how puny we mere mortal are in comparison. That our meager means in no way can match the glory that is our Father in Heaven. Also if you look at my timing in makeing the post you will notice it was on the eve of Fathers Days...so you might infer that it is also a tribute to Dads everywhere.

Now Aurel you post a cockamamie reference to a Book of New Age Gobbledegook and try to past that off as in any way being revelent? Hmmm...Also lighten up dude you can't take a shot across the bow in jest...you are begining to sound like the R Gruppe...as in no sense of humor.

One of the things that makes me successfull on these Boards is my ability to roll with the punches and not get reactive to what people say about me. I usually turn their comments about me against them....to great effect. AMEN
