Only in football can a draw bring so much pleasure

Was a good match. Shame Italy didn't win because they pretty much dominated the whole match

We need a big win against Bulgaria, me thinks.

Yeah, but they pushed hard during the first half and then falled back to "classical italian" defence-based football (due to fatigue?) which was punished.

All options are still open...except Bulgaria going further.

It's a lovely goal:

Yeah, it was a great goal.

I don't like Italy's second half strategy. Its a common trait of theirs and for as long as I can remember it hasn't worked in their favour.

I love the Italian team, they provided one of my favorite football moments of all time during the finals of Euro 2000. The France-England game last weekend was another great game. Can you tell who I am routing for?

It looks like I will be taking a very long lunch on Thursday. That England-Portugal game should be awesome. How many will Rooney score?

I dunno, Portugal is going to be the toughest yet for us. I can't see Rooney's goals falling like rain again - the Croatian defence was pretty bad.

Then again, England are probably the best looking team in the competition so far, with so many star nations having fallen, its got to look good for us

Czechs all the way for me. They've barely put a foot wrong so far. Nedved has been the world's top player for a couple of seasons now.

Thank god for BBC live. I can listen to the game free of charge while at work.

Czechs sound good. I can't imagine both Italy and Germany both not making the quarter. Germany better score another goal.

Germany is out, Czechs won! They won every match in championship up 'till now!

All major favorites are out: Germany, Spain and Italy.

Sweden is probably the worst team in quarter but I hope for miracle!
