I'm not sure I follow their logic. do they want to give organ donors a break in hopes that they would continue their reckless ways and hasten their demise? or do they want to recruit more donors under the impression that being one will get you off the hook more often?

Good question. I know a heart surgeon in Oregon...transplants his specialty. He bemoaned helmet laws...less raw material. ;)

hmmm... I got off for an 80 in a 65 the other day and i have that organ donor logo on my license. the sheriff was a reasonable man and you know what... i have most respect for him now. he did more good by warning me than he probably knows.
