ok guys just got back from watching spider-man 2 - awesome movie. i called about 15 landscape contractors today with no luck. of course i am still waiting to hear back from half of them, not holding my breath.
i am also looking into a few other options and may call upon a few favors. i am determined NOT to part with $2200 if i can help it. i must admit - the experience of restoring a car carries over into "restoring" the backyard. there are some very greedy people out there and it is reflected in their prices. it seems like there is no hard formula for a square foot of "this and that" cause everything has greed added to materials and labor.

bob, what are you trying to do? koi pond, sod? the best about owning your own home is you can do everything at your own pace. what is on the backyard menu?

I have a pair of pants like that for the golf course. I rarely lose a ball in the rough.

"Rarely" LOL And if you do lose it every now and then, to *appear* normal, you make sure it happens when you are sufficiently ahead?
