Too many "summer cars"?

Since we're in NY, some people think we have too many summer cars. So....my question to everyone here is - How many is too many?

Four -- which is one reason I'm seriously contemplating a move to climates that provide the opportunity for more than 7 months' a year's enjoyment of the things I spend most my disposable income on.

I grew up in Syracuse and love that town, but there is no way in Hell I'm going to move back there and have only May-October (reliably) to enjoy the toys.

The only limiting factor is the size of the garage

I currently have 4 - 2 at my house (100% complete- Mustangs), 1 at a friends house (95% complete - race Bug), 1 in my Dad's garage (10% complete - my Porsche project).

I've been feeling the need to replace my Explorer SUV with a 90-94 C4 - my kids are still small.

No cure in sight for me ... I'm a gonner.

Sweet. We have 3 right now and 2 every day drivers. Whenever someone comes to the house and sees our newest addition it's always, you have how many cars now?!!!! The expression on their faces is worth it every time.

I know of a guy with 30 cars in a pole barn, the only thing stopping him is that the barn is full.

Man, Long Island gets 7 months of good weather each year?

Not far from you, in upstate, on the shores of beautiful(?) Lake Ontario there are only two seasons...Ten months of Winter and two months of tough sledding. Lived there for years and only drove my "summer" cars from Late May until the end of September/early October. And, despite the care lavished on them, they turned into rustbuckets long before their time.

Don't miss that at all.......

I second that but don't forget, too much insurance as well.
