How about CorvetteForum?

Although I have to admit, it's nothing like Pelican!!! ;)

rcecale,

Do you use your vette as a daily driver?

Michael,

That privelege has been bestowed upon my wife. :D

Honestly, though, I prefer to drive my P-Car. The vette is definitely a much more ballsy car, but I just really do prefer my 86.

My God, that sucks!

A 1962 Corvette is a beautiful car, and they aren't making them anymore. :(

The other day while I rode my bike, a first-year Vette passed me. What was that? 1955? Oh my, what a gorgeous car. And the engine tone: it sounded like a jet.

speeder 07-10-2004 11:37 PM

First year for Corvette was 1953, and it came w/ a 6 cylinder engine only, believe it or not.

Was my car, but not my trophies.

Only if you like PLASTIC!

Part of the charm of a car is it's RUSTABILITY.... The other part of it's charm is it's LEAKING OIL! No oil no rust and you might as well have a new car...

rcecale 07-11-2004 04:58 PM

uh...the car is a year old. it IS new.

Even if it was made of metal, I'd be pretty upset if it WAS leaking oil or rusting.

thought p-cars from 76 up were galvanized as not to rust.
