Hey, maybe they'll make a movie. I do believe Bruce Campbell can sing very well...

Bruce Campbell is the king of the B movie. He starred in a short-lived western sitcom on Fox a few years ago.

"The Adventures of Briscoe County Jr."
A kick-ass show, too bad it didn't last more than a season....but then, it didn't appeal to the lowest common denominator.

Bruce Campbell
I just rented a newer movie by Bruce. It's called "Bubba Ho-tep" 2002. I though it was pretty funny for a "B" movie.

Bubbo Ho-tep was awesome. If you guys haven't figured it out yet, I'm a BC fan.

I'm a big BC fan, too. Did you see his little cameo in Spiderman2?

I haven't seen Spiderman 2. I've been trying to take my son, but he's too busy playing outside, all day, everyday. Just like dad and his Porsche.

Bubba Ho-Tep wasn't so good, though.

Bruce Campbell once showed up to a midnight movie screening of Evil Dead 2. Very small theater, maybe 30-40 people there, he just hung out with us afterwards and talked about movies and how they did this and that. Very cool guy, is the first to make fun of the fact that he is a B-movie star..

You have to look at BHT for what it is. Yes, it could have been better, but I chuckled all the way thru it. Just loved hearing and seeing Bruce do an old Elvis. Hell, it was good to see him play a leading role again.
I might be easier to please than most. I talked with a good friend, that is also a Bruce fan, and he didn't comment too much about BHT. My take is that he didn't want to say anything bad, so I guess he didn't think much of it. He did say that the Elvis consultant that was supposed to train Bruce quit a few days into the job, so Bruce taught himself from a bunch of old Elvis flicks.
