				Amsoil vs. Dodge OE oil

The Dodge 2500 with Cummins needs fluid change and filter. Do I run the ATF +4 from the stealer at $6/quart, or the Amsoil ATF fluid that meets Chrysler ATF +4 specs ($7.75/quart)? No other aftermarket oil meets Chrysler ATF +4 specs. I ran Mopar fluid at the 30k mile change. The tranny is the weakest link in the Dodge drivetrain.

Doesn't Mopar have a 10 year/100k mile powertrain warranty? If the drivetrain is that weak, I would go with the Chrsyler ATF fluid so that if you do have a problem, Chrysler can't give you ANY ***** for using a non-Chrysler oil. I know that dealers have to prove that the oil was the cause, but it might just be easier to stay with what you have.
