Anyone tape or Tevo yesterday's F1 race?
I posted my request off topic, but nobody has come to my rescue. I thought I'd try you guys before you tape over the race with some porn, tonight. :D :D ;)
I'd pay $10 to have it shipped to me, if anybody taped it. SmileWavy |
Chad,
Let me check. I set it up to be taped last night but was interupted by a female type pulling me into the hot tub and want to make sure that I got all of the race. Were are you in So-Cal? I should be in the Carlsbad area this week... JoeA |
Firstly: Tevo makes sandals, not DVRs.
Ignoring that however, yes, I still have it on Tivo. Pretty good race too. I'd be happy to tape & ship. Stef |
Stef - the sandals would be Teva

LOL - good point. I guess what we have is a cross between sandals and a DVR. Nothing like making a snide comment and getting called on it :D

Teva! That's good. Ok, sorry it's Tivo, huh? I'm not on that band wagon.... yet.
Stef, thanks for the offer! I'll take you up on it. Sending a PM, now.... |
Ok, I recieved the tape yesterday (thanks Stef!!!!) and started watching the race last night. WOW, I can't beleive Kimi's spin when the wing gave way. It's instant. I never knew there was THAT much down force and that it was ABSOLUTLEY needed.
I'm glad I have a duck tail. LOL |
No problemo.
Yah, that pretty much ended what little suspense there was as to the top step on the podium. F1 cars produce something along the lines of 3000 lb of downforce, so when the wing goes so does any semblance of control. Good to see that he was ok, amusing to see how steamed he was. So better check those titanium bolts on the duck tail :D Stef |

Chad,
The airfoils on the modern F-1 cars produce so much downforce that the car could drive on a road upside down and stick to the road. Stopping in this position would be a bear though... Joe |
