Famous Movie Cars to Own

Another post inspired this. If you could own one tv/movie car which one would it be and why?

I'll start:

Batmobile (1989 Movie) - I think it is just an amazing looking car. I would also like to have the machine guns in traffic.

I liked the original Batmobile.

Maybe the Chuck Barris Coffin Car from the 'Munsters'.

Of course, the green '67 Fastback Mustang that Steve McQueen drove in SF in 'Bullit'. My next door neighbor in Newport many years ago drove the Charger, was a stunt driver in many movies.

This one would be in my top five, only because I loved the film as a kid...

I've always wanted the "Bluesmobile" parked next to a "General Lee" replica.

Ehhhhhhhhhhhhhh...wrong it was a 1968 Mustang 390 GT that Steve drove in Bullit...Ford quickly ****canned the 390 in the Mustang as it made the car a sled....in late 68 Ford started putting the 428 CJ into the Mustang and Shelbys... Then in 1969 Ford introduced the Mustang Mach 1 with a 428 CJ option.

Oxymoron....The Ferrari Daytona in MV was a replica....For years that guy down in New Port Beach cut the tops off Daytonas making them into Spyders.... What a shame...

Here are my 'movie' cars:
1. The Mustang from Bullit
2. The 917 from LeMans.
3. The Black 911 Turbo S from Bad Boys
4. The vintage Ferrari from Ferris Bueler's Day Off.
5. Herbie The Love Bug.
6. The Mercury chop top from the movie "The Car."
7. The Back to the Future Delorean (only if it really can travel through time!)
8. Stallone's Hod Rod Merc from Cobra
9. The Wraith car.
10. Any of James Bond's cars.

It should, why not. I am all for a time machine but it would only be fair to mess with your own history and not everyone else's. No knocking off an enemies' grandfather or some strange stuff like that. I certaintly would have liked to been in LA/Hollywood at the turn of the century or during the WWII when things were booming or been there to see the building of the Golden Gate bridge or the Brooklyn Bridge or any great structure. I just wonder what would be going through these people's minds when they created these massive monuments.

Vash,

If you changed it, do you think you would be happier? Would you still have owned your P-car. Would you be in the profession you are in or would you be lost madly in love. Don't forget one change affects so many more things.

Hehe -- Time Machines --

I'd love to go 1 - 2 years into the future, just to bring back a newspaper with the following headline:

President Kerry Scandal - Impeachment Unavoidable!

On second thought, I'd rather go forward to November 3rd, 2004, and bring back this:
President Bush: Four more Years.

Hey, this is the Pelican OT forums, right? Gotta bring in the politics somehow...

I would prefer a headline like:

BUSH and KERRY drop out of race due to political scandals. SYLVESTER STALLONE TO BE PRESIDENT BY LANDSLIDE VICTORY.

I really can't stand politics. It has become such a negative word. It seems so much time is spend blaming the other side about what did or did not get done instead of just fixing the problem.

A more proper headline would be that both major candidates were jailed for campaign improprieties.

Ralph Nader wins election by default, and immediately resurrects campaign to rid the highways of those evil rear engined air cooled cars.

He has forgotten which one was the bad one.
